Cerium Oxide (technical name Cerium(IV) oxide) is an opaline grade abrasive powder for high quality finishing of optical and electro-optical components.
Cerium Oxide is a rare earth polishing media formulated for the final polishing of materials to 'optical' polishing standards and is suitable for use with polyurethane polishing plates and a wide variety of polishing cloths. Cerium Oxide offers the highest quality performance and uniform quality.
Not all Cerium Oxide is the same. We have tested numerous grades of Cerium Oxide in our processes and are pleased to offer only the highest quality cerium oxide available.
